“In my 25 years of working with personal development, I have learned and experienced that it’s impossible to help someone else; you can only help yourself. Still, change does happen faster if there’s someone to support and facilitate the process. Finding a coach that matches your personality and needs can be a challenge: the same coach may work well for one person, but not for another. It’s all about who you are and how you work: there needs to be a click on the personal level.
The human psyche, human behavior and personal well-being have intrigued me ever since I was a teenager: How does what you say, think or do affect others and how does that in turn reflect back on yourself?
I have experienced how it feels to get in touch with myself, with my own feelings and inner world, and fully live the effects. This has given me the ability to relate deeply to other people’s worlds. Or, as a client put it: ‘Mireille has a very accurate sense and knows how to ask the right question’
I work with Self-reflection: Self-reflection acts as a mirror to put you in touch with yourself. It brings to light your obstacles, sore spots and emotional blocks. Once you are able to recognize and acknowledge these, the learning process starts and personal growth can take place. You will get access to your true self, enabling you to realize your ambitions.”
Why Analytical therapy?
There are times in our lives where we get sidetracked. Jungian Analytical therapy is an in-depth therapy that helps you transform that what needs to be transformed. I will challenge you and facilitate your self-directed, future-oriented development process, taking your own experience as a starting point. I’ll ask difficult questions which may be hard to digest. Yet it’s precisely those questions that will give you the insights and stimulus you need to realize your dreams.
Analytical therapy is a sustainable and effective process that will create awareness of your behavior and gives insight into your patterns, opening up the opportunity for growth. This awareness is followed by the crucial moment of making the decision to change and unfold your potential. The desired outcome will be achieved if you take responsibility for your own life and start implementing your insights.
After each session, you will be asked to write a reflective report. I will provide feedback on these reports, so that you can deepen your process of self-development. The reports will be read attentively and I may add a question or two. This enables you to take considerable strides within a short period of time.
Who benefits from therapy?
Are you facing emotional, physical or mental challenges?
Did you ever ask yourself: What on Earth am I doing here?
What do I really want?
How can I take the next step in my life?
What are my dreams and ambitions?
In what way do I want to make a difference?
How does my behavior affect others?
If your answer to any of these questions is ‘Yes’, analytical therapy is the way to go!
I will help you find the answers to your questions.
You will be able to:
– achieve personal growth and realize your ambitions
– investigate your inner dynamics
– weigh your options
– add quality to your life
Therapist as a profession
Therapy is not currently a protected profession, which means there is a wide variety of therapist, coaches and trainers offering their services. I have been trained as a coach at a number of accredited coaching institutes and as an analytical therapist at the Jung Academy Amsterdam. I continue to develop both personally and professionally. This means I can provide myself and my clients with professional, expert care.
I am a member of the Dutch coaching association NOBCO (EMCC Netherlands, European Mentoring & Coaching Council) and am subject to the NOBCO/EMCC Code of Ethical Conduct.
Constellations are a very powerful method of gaining insight into the sore spots and underlying patterns that are active within a system. Recognizing these patterns helps solve specific blocks, freeing the systemic energy so that it can flow where it is needs to.
A system is a group of people who are connected with one another, such as a family, an organization, a team, a group of friends or a sports club. A disruption in a system, is the responsibility of both the individual with the problem as the entire system around this person. The developments within the system are reflected in its internal and external relations. These can be made visible through a constellation.
Every system operates on certain principles.
For proper functioning, systems rely on a number of principles. If these principles are not respected, the systemic balance is disturbed. In this case, the equilibrium will have to be restored so that the energy can flow freely again.
The systemic principles are:
1. Balance – between giving and taking
2. Order – all places within the system are naturally ranked
3. Belonging – everyone deserves a place
4. Recognition of roots and history
A systemic imbalance can lead to dissatisfaction, decision-making issues, confusion and stagnation of the energy flow. Constellations provide an opportunity to visualize systemic processes and discover new perspectives and options.

Connecting the polarities we carry inside creates space for growth, development and creation. True strength is derived from the synthesis of two extreme opposites, not from rejecting either one.
“I grew up outside the Netherlands as the youngest sibling of four. I was nine when my family moved to Hong Kong, where my father had accepted a position. After six years in the Far East, I graduated from pre-university education in Brussels and signed up for a Hotel Management Bachelor program. I obtained my degree in 1994. Eager to spend some time abroad, I enrolled in a Chinese course in Taipei, Taiwan. On completion of this course, I accepted a position as a Guest Relations Manager and returned to the Netherlands a year later. Back home, I worked as a TV Producer and as Event Manager at various venues and eventually started my own event agency, inPetto. I ran inPetto with my business partner for seven years, then sold my share of the company and embarked on a round-the-world trip with my partner and our then two-year-old son. A month on our way, we found out that I was pregnant. We decided to continue traveling and our second baby was born in Santiago de Chili, two days after one of the most devastating earthquakes in the century. I felt the new life inside me and at the same time experienced mortal fear. These experiences are described in my book ‘Zwanger in 13 landen’ (Pregnant in 13 Countries).
Upon our return, I swapped my flip-flops for high heels and suit again: We simply had to earn a living as we had spent all our money traveling. Around the same time, I came across the fascinating legacy of C.G. Jung. Jung views the personality as a whole consisting of the I, the conscious, the subconscious, of complexes and the collective unconscious – anyway, summarizing Jung in one sentence will never do him justice.
This wealth of experiences and impulses brought to the surface a dream I had cherished deep inside for a long time: a longing to follow my inner voice. While putting on my corporate suit, I heard a voice inside tell me to ‘Wake up!’
I took a long and hard look at the picture of my life and started realizing that I had spent the past twenty-five years avoiding the question “Is this what I’m supposed to do here?” My work did not give me satisfaction. I wanted my existence to be meaningful, to make a difference in other people’s lives; I wanted to do good and give back to the world.
You may say it was a calling. My passion has always been traveling – not just exploring the world but also, or perhaps even more so, the adventure of exploring the soul.
So what happened next? I quit my job as a Senior Event Manager, bade all my securities farewell and started to follow professional coaching courses. One of my main principles is not judging, not leading but supporting: Self-direction instead of advice.
I trust that whatever I need and want will come my way. This is something I have done throughout my life and it brought me all the way to professional coaching. As a result, I am able to relax more and I experience the joys in life more intensely.
I am inspired by your growth, the new insights that you gain and that make you develop and continue on your way. I facilitate the discovery of these new insights, enabling you to take the next step.”
